I got way too high / and then I got so bored
I was a frightened child / and then I felt so old
I loved a wicked girl / and then I was alone
I tried to see the world / but I just missed my home
Why can't I be in the middle?
Somewhere in the middle
Why can't I be in the middle?
Somewhere in the middle
We filled it to the brim / then we spilled the whole damn thing
Filled it up again / my friend
But somewhere in the middle I'm in jail
And you're the chisel
Doing time
Fighting
Fucking
Eating
Shitting
Boredom
Violence
TV
And I think I'd rather wait for my pancakes in silence
This album was my happy escape from when the COVID pandemic was in full swing and everyone was locked down. everything in the world was so bleek and grim at that time and this album came along and really brightend up the day. Rek760

I appreciate the musicality and the arrangement and the artistry of the songs. He sings and plays like his life depends on it. I appreciate the humanity of the lyrics… Like reading Tortilla Flats, or watching Nobody’s Fool.
Ceschi is a bright star. I’m glad he’s loose in the world. oldtruck
